Werner R. Meissner, who uses the nickname "Vern," began practicing law in Los Angeles at a prestigious Medical Malpractice defense firm. Don J Richards was born and raised in West Texas. He headed out west to California in 1983 to attend law school. He has been practicing personal injury and civil liability law since 1986. For the first seven years, he was an associate in a mid-sized insurance defense firm working out of both of its offices in Riverside and Orange County. He defended individuals and businesses in personal injury and general liability cases.
For the next three years, Mr. Richards worked for a small boutique law firm managing the general civil litigation department on behalf of both Plaintiff and Defendant clients. For the next three years, as a lead attorney in the litigation department, he gained a wide range of experience in trial on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants in civil litigation matters. He also assisted the general partner on a variety of criminal defense cases in both State and Federal Courts.
